Make your own Tiara

Your Wedding Day may be fast approaching and I'm sure you will have thought of many different aspects to ensure that your day will be extra special.

However, have you thought of what you might wear in your hair?  Would you consider making your own hair decoration or tiara?

Perhaps you might think that you don't have the time or even the skill to do this.  You would be surprised.  Many brides are now looking into this option as not only do you have something unique that you have made yourself - this can also save you money.

Tiara components can be purchased from Bead Stores and online shops.  Headbands, crystals, pearls, wire etc can all be bought.  However, this is the easy bit - you need to think about the design and how it will look when worn.

Do you like something with bling?  Then you will need lots of small crystals to catch the light.  If you prefer a simpler look then pearls can look very understated but still have that subtle lustre as only pearls can do!

It is always important to consider the wearer and how comfortable the tiara will be when worn.  All loose ends should be tucked in securely to ensure no jagged edges - you wouldn't want to snag your veil!

If you are not too confident to do this on your own it may be possible to enrol on a tiara making course in your local area.  This means that you will be taught how to make your tiara and ensure that it is professionally finished.  Many courses include a choice of components as well as design ideas to ensure that you have your very own unique tiara for your Wedding Day.
